Hardy Island Granite Quarries Ltd. is the Pacific Northwest's largest quarry
for the production of granite blocks. Since re-opening the historic Hardy Island quarry in 1999, the company has shipped over
28,000 tons of blocks to processors and distributors in British Columbia and Washington State. The stone is used for a wide variety of purposes, from residential to large public projects.

Hardy Island Update - January 2006 In 2004, Hardy Island Granite Quarries Ltd. partnered with Adera Natural Stone to form Haddington Island Stone Works and re-open the Haddington Island Andesite Quarry. This quarry supplied the stone for the BC Parliament Buildings, the Vancouver Hotel and many more of British Columbia's grandest historic buildings.
